Due to the specialized nature of this telemedicine practice, Dr. Yudofsky is not able to see patients in need of urgent treatment or having psychiatric emergencies.

Dr. Yudofsky is unable to see patients with the following conditions:

- those requiring pain, opiate or substance addiction treatment, clozapine treatment, or needing benzodiazepines prescribed every day.

-experiencing thoughts of self harm or who have a history of suicidal thoughts or behaviors.

-with acute mania or psychosis

-requiring treatment for anorexia or bulimia

These conditions often require a higher level of support and crisis intervention than my virtual practice can provide.

Your free introductory screening call is 15 minutes. This brief call will establish if we are the right mutual fit for working together.

After your brief discovery call we will have a comprehensive intake session which will last 90 minutes.

Ongoing sessions will last 50 minutes.

Lifestyle psychiatry is a comprehensive approach to mental health that combines evidence-based conventional psychiatry with complementary wellness practices. Rather than focusing solely on symptom management through medication, lifestyle psychiatry examines the whole person – including physical health, nutrition, lifestyle, relationships, and environmental factors that influence mental well-being.

This approach recognizes that mental health challenges often have multiple contributing factors. While I may recommend psychiatric medications when appropriate, I also explore other elements that impact your mental health and we work together to create lasting positive change rather than just managing symptoms.

This balanced approach helps many patients achieve better outcomes, often with lower medication doses or, in some cases, without medication at all.
